Hope on the Hill

Back in October, Van Andel Institute had their annual Hope on the Hill fundraiser. This year they asked a group of people to be in a video that talked about hope, and I was lucky enough to be included.  All our stories are cut together in a really beautiful way, and I really loved how it turned out.

They interviewed me for about an hour, and the result was the video below. The editing did cause the story timeline to get a little messed up, but that’s bound to happen when you’ve got 4 hours worth of interviews to fit into 8 minutes.

Enjoy!

  1. Great job Chelsea, you help bring hope to others and that in itself is a blessing. Thank you for sharing this with us.

  2. Hi Chelsea! You did a wonderful job talking at this event for VanAndel. I’m glad I got to listen to it because I didn’t really know what it was when I donated last year to Eagles for Eric. Wonderful info and sounds like a wonderful place to be connect with. I was meant to read this today because I’ve been having a little bit of a rough week. I closed on our house this week (I moved in November) and I think it made me miss Tom more. But if you can do this with a little one, I can do it too. God has made us strong! It’s been about 10 months for me and I think both Eric and Tom died in May. Eric in 2016 and Tom in May of 2017. Is that correct for Eric’s date? I think of you often. Take care of yourself and Arie. Love, Linda
